The effects of almond oil

The almond tree originally comes from the western part of Central Asia. From Persia, the almond tree found its way to Greece via Egypt and was spread throughout the Mediterranean by the Romans. The skin-supporting properties of almond oil were already known then, and the ancient Greeks and Romans also used it as a beauty product.

Almond oil is a soothing oil suitable for many skin types, but it is especially beneficial for dry skin. The oil regulates the moisture content in your skin and combats skin aging due to its high content of vitamins A and E, leaving your skin wonderfully soft and supple.

Because almond oil is well absorbed and does not leave a greasy layer on your skin, it is also a wonderful oil for massage, possibly with a few drops of essential oil. The oil stimulates blood circulation and is beneficial for your hair. Due to its mildness, almond oil is also very suitable for removing (eye) makeup.

Sweet Almond Oil (Cold Pressed) has little scent. Sweet Almond Oil (Organic & Cold Pressed) does have the typical almond scent.

The many applications of almond oil

Almond oil is a true all-rounder and an essential among your skincare products. It is recommended to apply a thin layer of oil to your skin after showering or cleansing. To combat (premature) skin aging, massage your face with a little oil after showering or cleansing and let it absorb well. Massage your skin with a little oil in the desired areas.

To remove (waterproof) makeup, apply some almond oil to a cotton pad and gently remove your makeup. Almond oil is very suitable for use around your eyes due to its mildness.

To make your hair stronger, healthier, and give it more shine, apply some almond oil to damp hair and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo as usual.
