What is Castor Oil?

Castor oil is also known as wonder oil, and that's because it has many extraordinary applications. This Castor oil is 100% plant-based and organic and is carefully made from seeds of the green fruits of the castor bean plant: Ricinus Communis. The tree is cultivated in India, East Africa and the southeastern Mediterranean region.

Due to the rich amount of omega 9 fatty acids, this wonder oil is able to nourish the hair, hair follicle and surrounding skin deep into the root. This stimulates the growth of hair, beard and eyelashes.

Use

• Hair care

  Castor oil is the oil you should use to give your hair the ultimate care. Castor oil is able to make damaged and dull hair (e.g. from dyeing, blow-drying and straightening/curling) grow longer and healthier, leaving you with beautiful and shiny hair again.

  Apply a little oil to your hands and distribute it through slightly damp hair and on your scalp. Leave the oil on for a few hours, then wash your hair with your usual shampoo. Castor oil is a rich and thick oil and can sometimes be difficult to wash out of hair. Therefore, it is advisable to dilute the oil with another oil such as almond or coconut oil. You can apply the oil to your hair several times a week.

• Eyelash and eyebrow serum

  Due to the rich amount of fatty acids, Castor oil can give even the shortest and thinnest eyelashes more volume. Your eyebrows can also benefit from the special properties of Castor oil. The omega 9 fatty acid can ensure that your eyebrows become fuller again, giving you even eyebrows.

  For ease, apply the oil to an old mascara brush or cotton swab so that you can distribute the oil evenly over the eyelashes and/or eyebrows. It is also possible to apply the oil with your fingers. You can use the oil daily. Be careful not to get the oil in your eyes.

• Skin care

  Castor oil is known for its highly nourishing and moisturizing effect because Castor oil can penetrate deep into the skin. Partially due to vitamin E, the oil is suitable for people with dry skin or to combat signs of skin aging.

  Castor oil also has a cleansing effect, making it excellent for removing impurities on the skin or makeup. Ricinus acid in Castor oil helps with pimples and blackheads, softens the skin and prevents the formation of small scars.

  Due to its thick structure and healing effects on muscles and skin, Castor oil is ideal for use as a massage oil. Apply some oil to your hands and massage it into the areas of your body that could use extra attention.

  It is best to apply Castor oil after cleansing your skin or showering. Apply the oil every evening before going to bed to the desired areas so that it can be absorbed well. The oil can sometimes feel thick and greasy, so it is wise not to apply it multiple times a day. Your skin can only absorb a certain amount of oil at a time.

• Beard care

  Castor oil nourishes the beard like no other, deep into the root. Due to its stimulating effect, bald and thinner patches in your beard are intensively cared for, so that a full and even beard grows back. Castor oil also works effectively on mustaches.

  Apply the oil to your hands and massage the oil into your beard and mustache. Pay extra attention to the areas that could use more oil. You can use the oil daily, but you can also apply this wonder oil two to four times a week for the desired effect.
