What is Vitamin E oil?

This golden-yellow oil (extracted from sunflower oil) is a powerful antioxidant and an indispensable addition to your DIY recipes. It prevents your homemade products from going rancid and is also a great addition for your skin.

Vitamin E helps soothe sunburned skin, helps prevent premature skin aging, provides intensive care, and leaves your skin feeling supple. Additionally, vitamin E softens scars and stretch marks, helping them fade and preventing new ones. It also stimulates collagen production and the creation of new skin cells.

Usage

To use vitamin E oil as a natural antioxidant in your DIY products, use between 0.5% and 1.0% of your total product. For every 100 ml of oil, this means between 0.5 and 1 ml of vitamin E oil (so it lasts a long time).

For pure use on your skin, apply a small amount of the oil where needed on cleansed skin and massage until absorbed. Vitamin E oil can also be applied as a serum under your eyes; for this, apply a drop with a fingertip to the skin under your eyes and gently pat it into your skin.

Please note: due to (naturally occurring) carotenes, the product may be red in color. When used purely, this may leave a light yellow/orange tint, which will fade over time. Furthermore, the texture is quite viscous.
