Orange blossom water is primarily known for its wonderful scent, and for that reason alone, it's a must-have. Additionally, it's also a lovely water to use as a toner or as a face and body mist.

Orange blossom water is a by-product of the production of orange blossom (neroli) essential oil and supports your skin's regenerative capacity. It's slightly stronger in action than rose water and, due to its astringent effect, it closes pores and helps reduce oily skin and pimples. If you have dry skin, it's best to mix orange blossom water with a little rose water.

Usage

Orange blossom water is best used pure on your skin, or mixed with a little rose water if your skin is on the drier side. For example, use it after cleansing your face as a toner or in your hair for a wonderfully fragrant mane. Of course, you can also use orange blossom water in DIY lotions, masks, soap, or shampoo instead of plain water. Tip: For extra hydration, mix a small amount of glycerin into orange blossom water to help retain extra moisture in the skin.
